A backpacking trip geared to beginners. Don't worry if you don't have all the equipment, we will work together so you have what you need without a big investment. This is a great way to try something you haven't done, have fun while doing it and not break the bank.

About the event
Backpacking is taking your love of hiking and stepping it up. It means having all your equipment on your back, carrying your pack through the woods as you hike beautiful trails and observe the beauty of the surrounding area.
This trip is designed for beginners. You don't need to have all the equipment and you don't need experience. A zoom meeting will be held prior to our journey to answer any and all questions, review equipment everyone has, what is minimally required, what can be shared and if others have extras that can be loaned.
To ease you into the experience, we will hike with our backpacks on Day 1 to our camp. Then, we'll set up camp and remain there until Day 3. Day 2 we will take our day packs on go on a day hike to the rapids and cliff lookout, finishing the full trail we start…

Backpacking in Muskoka
This ticket includes your guided backpacking trip. A zoom meeting will be held to review equipment and arrangements will be made to ensure all participants have what is required. The zoom meeting will also address any questions/concerns about the trip. Some purchases of equipment may be required by participants. Participants are responsible for providing their own food. Refunds will not be permitted for any reason. Please ensure you are committed to going.
